Having stayed at the De Rougemont before we booked again in Early June 2014 and will be returning again soon. The Reception staff were very helpful in changing our room to a ground floor room due to a change in our circumstances. During our stay (3 nights) the Hotel catered for every request that we had. The Food was Excellent and the restaurant waitress (breakfast) was the most efficient and helpful we have ever been served by. The night Reception guy was very helpful and profesional as was the Receptionist who had seen us at both booking in and at booking out, they are a real credit to the Hotel .We have plans to revisit Brentwood again later in the year and will time our trip to ensure we book the De Rougemont Hotel again. Arrived at the hotel at 10 30pm on a Monday evening and was pleasently greeted by the receptionist…….Before going to our room we spent an hour relaxing in the Champers Bar. Staff were very obliging and the hotel was immaculate. We were shown to our room overlooking the Italian Gardens, which was also immaculate. The bed was huge, comfortable and clean and the room had all facilities needed. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a selection of jucies, cereals, crossaints, cold meats etc…..and the Full Englist breakfast was delicious!!! Would highly recommend others and look forward to returning soon.

The food in your Heseltines Restaurant is of great quality, the Restaurant staff are very professional & knowledgeable & always provided me with first class service, the Bar staff are very friendly, always ready to serve customers. But for me you have two shining stars that work at your Hotel, they are the two Receptionists. I work up & down the country & have spent the last 10 years living in Hotels and it is rare to meet such fantastic people at Reception. They always made me feel welcome, they were always efficient in the way that they welcomed guests, escorting them to their rooms & explaining what the Hotel had to offer etc. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they work very well together & I guess you are very proud of how they support your family run business & the way they look after your guests. There were a team of professional consultants staying at your Hotel on & off over the past few years & they were all very impressed with the way in which your Receptionists operated so these are not just my views. I would be grateful if you would share this feedback with your Receptionists as they are great ambassadors for your business at Front-of-House. “I am writing to thank everyone at “The Manor” for the excellent service that I have enjoyed over the past few months. Staying away from home while working is often something to be endured, but I have genuinely enjoyed my time at De Rougemont Manor & it has been like a second home. Particular thanks go to: Alan for welcoming me when I first arrived one evening after The Holiday Inn was unable to honor my booking! (I never went back). The Receptionists for their friendly cheerfulness, when booking me in & out, ensuring that I stayed in every room in the place, & for tolerating my addiction to beef salad. Mo’, Tony & Manuel for looking after me every morning & evening with attentive service in your Heseltines Restaurant. Peter for traipsing up to my room on so many occasions. We had our wedding at de rougemount manor and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
I stayed the night before with my parents, husbands parents, bridesmaids and a few other relatives and even before the big day nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the restaurant and had amazing food. Especially the cheese board.
My maid of honour and I stayed in a beautiful room the night before that had a sofa and a large bed, which was perfect for us girls to pamper and do our nails. We ordered room service and it was there in a flash.
The day itself was like a fairytale with lots of suprises, which between the staff and my parents went very smoothly and totally amazed my husband and I.
My husband is a landscape gardener, so the grounds were perfect for our theme of gardens and gems. Beautiful place with beautiful scenery.
The reception. The food (even for a vegetarian like me) was fabulous and what ever we needed was never too much trouble and the waiters and waitresses kept making sure that everything was just right. I would like to say a special thank you to Devin and Niomi for everything they did before the event and on the day itself. Devin on the day especially as she was always in eye sight if we needed anything and kept making sure we was ok.

Arrived at the hotel at around 10.30 On Monday 2/6/14 after our wedding reception and was greeted with warm congratulations by the hotel receptionist. Before retiring to the bridal suite, we spent a while relaxing and talking over the day in the very comfortable Champers Bar where the staff were very attentive. Our suite was everything we could have hoped for, four poster bed, 2 bathrooms, a reception room and a beautiful view over the gardens. The bed was extremely comfortable and the place immaculate. Breakfast was delicious!!! so much to choose from the buffet and the full English was faultless. It really was the perfect end to a perfect day!
