We at De Rougemont Manor Hotel have been no strangers to success over the 43 year period we have been here in Great Warley Street, Brentwood. This has also not happened by chance, more by design, careful planning,  attention to detail and sheer hard work, all of which our  guests, both private & corporate, expect of us as one of the only privately family owned & managed AA four-star rated hotels in the whole of Essex.

We are pleased & proud to announce a record rise in trading revenue generated over the past year during what has been for most hoteliers in this industry a very turbulent financial 12 months.

We attribute our success in achieving this not-insignificant objective to looking after our staff as much as our paying guests; this has proven to be a very successful formula for us as born out by our 80% upturn in trade to January 2011 over the previous year!

Our Sales & Marketing Staffing Policy.

The hotel sales & marketing department at De Rougemont Manor Hotel is responsible for generating corporate guests during the 5 working days of the week.

This department is the heart of the hotel in that their business decisions and promotions affect all of the departments within the hotel by increasing trade and bring new customers through the doors, this has been critical to the overall success of our hotel during the past year.

Our staff are driven by the excitement and success of contracting revenue into the hotel. They are self-motivated to reach individual goals while contributing to overall team objectives.

A successful De Rougemont Manor employee in this department is confident, technologically savvy, and effective at proactively identifying problems and implementing lasting solutions.

They understand the importance of strategically placing business in the hotel to maximize overall revenue while maintaining positive professional business relationships with our guests both old and new.

Leadership positions within this department are often filled from in-house up n coming individuals that exhibit true leadership potential, high levels of competence and most importantly a desire to succeed.

Some of our staff choose to remain in a selling role, as they are motivated by our performance-related pay structure. We also encourage & promote continued ongoing personal staff development & training to maintain their motivation at all times.
